TaskLock is a productivity app designed to help users manage tasks, habits, and events while temporarily restricting selected apps, categories, or websites through Apple system frameworks.

TaskLock is provided as a productivity tool only. It is not a medical, psychological, therapeutic, safety, emergency, or professional advisory service.

1. Acceptable Use

You may use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You agree not to:

• use the App in an unlawful, harmful, or abusive way;
• interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with the App;
• use the App in a way that violates Apple platform rules or the rights of others.

2. Apple Technologies and Dependencies

Certain features of TaskLock rely on Apple technologies and services, including Screen Time, Family Controls, Managed Settings, iCloud, and the App Store. Because of this, some features may depend on your device, iOS version, permissions, Apple account status, and Apple platform limitations or updates.

We are not responsible for interruptions, restrictions, or changes caused by Apple systems, platform behavior, or Apple policy changes.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

TaskLock may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and may offer other in-app purchases in the future through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that:

• payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase;
• subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
• your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
• you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.

Subscription duration, price, and availability are shown in the App and/or on the applicable App Store purchase screen at the time of purchase. All billing, payment processing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the App will be free of errors, bugs, or interruptions. We disclaim any warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TaskLock or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including missed events, locked access to critical apps, or any indirect losses.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. By continuing to use the App, you accept the new Terms.
